You are:
An Aviation Software Developer Manager is an expert within the aviation space, one of the Accenture capability referenced above and leading the execution of transformational projects of all scale. Responsibilities may include the development and execution of account governance processes, process improvement, collaboration between both internal and client global teams, data analysis, and account documentation / reporting.

The work:
Automating existing SAS production jobs that are routinely run on a weekly and/or monthly basis using existing methods at Seabury or newer industry-accepted methods
Streaming the existing process for receiving large amounts of data from external sources using SFTP, direct downloading from clients web servers, and other methods
Creating a process for distributing data tables and reports to clients via SFTP, SharePoint, and Seaburys Accenture Private Cloud platform
Implementing a process using SMTP or another method of notifying internal and external clients processes have completed
Creating reports and other instruments as part of the quality control of incoming and outgoing data and reports
Improving efficiency of existing SAS programs, including more robust logs and use of macros, and integrating it with Seaburys software suite
Assisting with the modernization of Seaburys software suite, including the redesign of the graphical user-interface and integration of back-end SAS programs
Software project planning, including collecting requirements from stakeholders, user acceptance testing, etc.
Knowledge of the aviation industry including standardized data sources (e.g., IATA DDS, US DOT)

Heres what you need:
At least 3 years experience working using as a SAS Program Engineer
At least 2 years experience in the Aviation industry, preferably network planning, revenue management, or decision support
A Bachelors Degree


Bonus points if:
Background in the following program languages: SAS; Visual Studio Enterprise, C#, VB.Net, WPF application, C/C++, Java, Java Script, IBM CPLEX; SQL; and Python

Ability to work flexible schedule to work with global team
Time management/prioritization skills
Comfortable working on ad hoc analysis request with urgent timelines
Prior experience in interacting with senior leadership Program, Project Management and Service Management Experience
